8 weeks beginner westside programm coming to an end

New member
well,...

this weekend i'll see what new maxes i can get

so far my bench has gone up from 82,5kg to 105kgs (haven't gone to failure)
my previous squat max was 120kgs, and i did 125kgs for a heavy double three weeks ago,...

i'm already thinking of what program i'm doing afterwards,
since everytime i tried the westside principles with a program i made 'by myself' i didn't have great results, and as it looks now with the beginner program which i followed as closely as i could, i made awesome progress....

do you guys think i could just run the beginners program a second time, or should i see if there are any new sticking points this weekend and then plan accordingly?

thanks in advance

i dont see anything wrong with running it again especially since you are seeing results!!!If something didnt work for you well then by all means drop it and add something else to see what works

WSB is just the template..granted you may not see Childress doing the exact samething but then again none of us are near his caliber and nor should we be copying his training

Chamb and I ran the program twice...maybe not exactly alike each time, but after doing it twice we were knowledgeable enough to move on and branch out to other exercises learned through reading, watching, etc. and able to make our own program through trial and error. I think it is a great idea to run it again. Good luck!
