7-8 showers???

I was reading the new FLEX today and they had an article about Jay Cutlers training habits.In this they said he showers 7 to 8 times a day and brushes his teeth like 10 times a day, what the hell is up with that? Escpecially the shower thing?

I was also shocked to see that he brushes his teeth 10 times a day . If he really does that , he has some mental issues.

That's called obsessive compulsive disorder.He should see someone about that.They have drugs for that now.

Well if it keeps acne away - I might try the shower thing.
10x brushing is stupid. He's doing more damage to his teeth than good.
 
It's says in a magazine ( don't remember that magazine, think Maxim )that he eats every 1.5 hours!!! Even through the night???? What!! No sleep to eat? He must be shitting on that toilet up to 20 times per day! And sleep? What sleep?
 
obsesive compulsive disorder. he suffers from mental illness. its like the guy who washes his hands 2000 times a day because he's scared of germ.

Anthrax, you are right! That shit will dry out your skin big time! I shower twice on the weekdays ( because that's all I can do ). And weekends I shower 3-5 times. BTW..do you really think he eats that often? Especially through the night??!!! Wouldn't he live on the toilet? Or just be too fat!? Or too fucking full and probably throw up? I think 6- 8 meals a day is enough for me!

exactly. that was the first thing i thought of when i read the initial post. it may also the reason why he's a champion bodybuilder.
 
BTW, between what the media say and the truth you usually have to divide by 2 or 3 :D
 
Well if he works out say twice a day, lets look at this.
Shower when you wake up, shower after A.M. workout, shower after afternoon workout, and maybe squeeze one in before or after sex at night or before bed. OK thats 4 showers minimum, if he has a photo shoot or any kind of meeting that could throw in an extra. So thats 5 showers.
Now for the teethe I personally think it feels great to brush and floss. You dentist tells you after every time you eat. Especially if you a bodybuilder gushing down some high protein meals and shakes. So if he eats say 10 times a day why would that not warrant brushing say 8 times a day and once when you wake up and once when you go to bed ??? No shut the fuck up and go brush your teeth and wash your ass !!!

LMAO, as crazy as that sounds, you make a good point with the tooth brushing,I still think showering 7-8x is a bit much but, hey, it's probably that obssessive compulsiveness that has made him into a top pro so, whatever it takes I suppose. Besides, I doubt that the health of his skin is top on the physical things he needs to worry about, just think about the amount of gear he probably uses. If you're going to throw everything else to the wind, why not skin? It's probably destroyed from constant application of Pro-tan anyway.

He may use gentl bubble gum flavored childrens toothepaste and a dentist reccomended extra soft bristle brush :)
 
LOL....actually, I had the opportunity to talk to him at a recent show for about 10 minutes....pretty decent guy, but def. a strange breed. Not neccesairly OC, but merely a boredom factor. The guy doesnt leave his house, cept to train. His wife prepares all his meals. he eats every 1-2 hours. Cardio in am.........trains around 1pm........cardio in pm...........can't leave his house because he's afraid to miss a meal. Eats upwards of 10x a day and sleeps between each one............nice life. Tell me, is it worth it?
 
Read an article in felx a few months back, basically this guy starts his training at 4am with a cardio workout, and then sleeps for 2 hours every 4 hours. Including "power naps". Its sick, Ive never seen anything like it.
