7-15 Heavy deadlifts.

Well I had a very good deadlift workout today. And I set a PR, it went like this.
135-1x8
1x8
225-1x8
315-1x6
405-1x5
495-1x2
585-1x2
625-1x3 PR, well I never tried it before so im just gonna assume that it is.

That was the highlight of the day, cause the rest of my back workout sucked. My trap workout was good. And I hit abs good and hard.
 
nice job on the pr!!... i could keep up with your for the first 2 sets of yours... after that i could keep up.
 
man, i wish my deadlift sessions went as well as yours... i did mine today and nearly puked twice.... i learned to never go for a PR right after you eat mcdonalds. Oh well.
 
Word of wisdom, well from my experience, dont always go for a PR. Only PR's I go for are like 2reps 3reps. I only max out for a PR about every 7-9 weeks. Im not sayin you max out all the time, im just throwin it at you for the future.
 
oh yeah, i know, I usually just work on my speed...i havent attempted a max since my contest over a month ago (besides the one i tried yesterday). but lately my speed was good, so i decided to give it a go. but it wasnt meant to be

As far as what I do for my other basic exercises, There just divide up between width, and thickness
example:
On my deadlift assistance days ill do,
Rack Pulls
Reverse Hypers
Speed Deads
Then after im done with that ill finsh up on my width movements
Pullups
Pulldowns
Closegrip Pulldowns
Seated Rows
And I always do shrugs on back day

On my regular deadlift
deadlifts

Then onto thickness
Pulldowns (always do these for the lats)
Barbell rows
DB rows
T-Bar rows
Seated Rows (with a lat pulldown bar)
shrugs

It might seem like I do alot and it will take me forever, but I train fast. I dont train slow!
