Can you apply 5x5 method to any exercise? Like could I do all of my bi- and tri- exercises on a 5x5 plan and get similar strength gains you get doing it for squats, bench, etc.?
why not? well they are smaller muscle groups... they dont need the same kind of workload as your larger muscle groups...
they do not have the same potential for strength increase, and they will get plenty of work assisting your big lifts, and if you really need, you can add in a couple sets of iso exersises a couple times a week...
