Have you tried putting Beano on the eggs? I often mix up eggs & broccoli and throw the Beano on top for the broccoli, but it might help w/ the eggs too.

Sleep that night was at best terrible!!! I tossed and turned until oh 3am, woke up at 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep for the life of me. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I was thinking about my sleep patterns and I realized about the same time I started dieting again, my sleep got screwed up again. F*cking wonderful!!!

Is it calorie related? I have a hunch it is eventhough it should be different...more calories...less sleep...because of sugar levels...Oh and about the diamonds...you are cut and shiny...don't even think of a diamond in the rough!

Well Treil you can't blame me haha... for you your sleep problems are related to your comp coming up. The last few weeks before a show, is the hardest time to get sleep.

Well let's me lol so sleep was a negative last night, omg it was the worst night in awhile, I think I got an hour sleep total, I'm not even kidding I literally was awake from 11 to 5 just tossing around.

So when I finally said enough and got out of bed I looked f-ing terrible, big ass bags that could hold luggage under my eyes, just great. So what did I do, put Prep H under my eyes lol, then cold compresses, and then began applying that crap some ladies call make-up, yuck! lol I must say I did a great job though, lol especially for someone that never wears it.

So got to the gym for the shoot, it went really well, actually, the photographer is in love with me, hahaha, I got to see some of the shots he took through the camera, and I was shocked I can't wait to get them and show you guys. I had alot of fun.

Now I'm going to go and eat, I'm starving :p

Mermaid yes I tried ZMA, also valerian, milk before bed, warm baths, herbal teas, you name it I've probably tried it. Now the funny thing is that the last few days, since my carbs were upped I've gotten better sleep. I don't know if depleting carbs can cause a problem with sleep but it seems so.

Made a note of this in SBT's log.... I noticed my sleep dropped after I went below 30% carbs... I can drug you with some tea like I did Bunny if you like? Chamomile before bed always has worked for me... most of the time and cutting out all caffeine before 4:00 p.m.

On another note, I finally got my squat up to a palte again woohoo :elephant: did 2 sets like that with 8 reps each. As you all know I've been struggling to get my strength back, seems it's getting there.

Sorry for missing the post where you talk about carb depletion and sleep.

Yes lowering carbs cause problem with sleep, specially while in depletion.

Just try to lower to the maximum (besides workout) all other activities in the day, if possible try to go to bed earlier than usual (like 1-2 hours earlier than usual) or take naps during the day.

Well I'm glad I wasn't going crazy T and Nik lol, but I have increased my carbs, right now I'm actually just eating clean and not thinking about calories. On Monday I'll be doing 40/30/30 BW x 12.

lol The issue I have with the age 29 has nothing to do with getting older really, I know I don't look my age, I've been carded a few times. It's alot deeper than that.

When I was 9 years old my father died of cancer, which was very rough on me, it still affects me and sometimes I feel like I'm 9 all over again, I see the day like it was yesterday, I can tell you exactly how he looked, what we (him and I) wore, and what was in his coffin the day of his funeral. He was 29 years old, so I've always feared being 29, I know probably just being silly, but really bothered me.

Anyway I just wanted you all to know that I don't fear getting older, there's more to it for me.
