The Jets will look to snap a seven-game losing streak when they host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

Oakland brings a 4-8 overall mark (0-5 in the division) into this game versus a New York team carrying a 2-10 record.

The Raiders are road favorites, opening as 2.5-point chalk, with an opening total of 39.5. They are 5-7 ATS this season and 5-7 OU. The Jets are 3-9 ATS and are 8-4 OU.

Last time out, the Raiders lost to San Diego 34-10 as 12.5-point underdogs. That contest went under the closing total.

Meanwhile, New York comes off a 16-3 loss against New England, a game where they were 10.5-point underdog. The game went under the closing total of 40.5.

You can't expect much in the way of offensive fireworks from New York. Saddled with the 32nd-ranked offence and averaging just 11.9 PPG, the Jets' offence needs to give its defensive unit some help Sunday in order to have a chance against the Raiders.

Some trends to consider:
Oakland is 1-4-0 ATS in its last 5 games
Oakland is 1-4-0 SU in its last 5 games after being 10.5 to 14 point underdogs
Oakland is 1-4-0 OU in its last 5 away
Oakland is 8-16-0 ATS in its last 24 away games
New York are 9-16-1 ATS in its last 26 games after scoring less than 10 points
New York are 9-17-0 SU in its last 26 games after scoring less than 10 points
New York are 9-16-1 OU in its last 26 at home
New York are 4-9-1 ATS in its last 14 games against Oakland

Next up:
Oakland home to Cleveland, Sunday, December 18
NY Jets at Miami, Sunday, December 18
