I like that it wasn't traditional. When I was young I thought I would get married in a red dress. Now I have decided never to get married.

I do too. I'm very traditional so my dress was white but I love it when brides wear other colors. Just not me :D

A friend of mine went shopping in New York and got a very expensive dress. She felt foolish cause she had no where to wear it. So we all bought prom dresses and rented a limo and had a "dress justification party". Lol.

Hey Guys.... the weekend was good :) Momentary penetration in the hot tub, and plenty of orgasms to go around, but... I don't know. Apparently I need to get on the pill and he'll feel more comfortable. I got up at 4am this morning to drive 280 miles home, dropped my dog off at home and went to the office. Long and tiring day.

I did hear back that I am not being selected for the job I interviewed for, however I had one phone interview this morning with Crowe Horwath and have another scheduled for Wednesday.

Sounds like things are still going well for the both of you "out of the bedroom" as well and though there are those of us who don't like to admit it sometimes, that other stuff is pretty important too. Hopefully things continue to move in the right direction with him and your job search.

You can get STD tests online and at the pharmacy and they cover everything. A man should feel 100% comfortable getting that and doing it with his partner. If he is not willing to do that then you need another man. (I don't see this as an issue with Rach, I am just bringing it up.)

One of my good friends likes to sleep around. She got the herp from a guy in the military. I always warned her to not have unprotected sex unless they are willing to get tested. She is only 27 and is screwed.

We have talked about it - he's been with 6 women in his life, and it's something that is special to him and when he's ready he's ready - and it does have a lot to do with his morals; though as we discussed earlier sex can be interpreted as oral sex any way, not just penetration.

I'm going with he just wants to make sure we're going to be seeing each other for a while and this isn't a quick fling.

The father of my kids was Catholic. He had some similar views on sex, so what she is saying isn't all that strange to me. I do agree, however, that she should be careful.

No. I don't know you well enough to make a judgement like that. I have no right. You said based on the company I keep you had a right to judge me. I was trying to make a point that I do not put myself above others like that.

You guys honestly he just takes sex as a very intimate thing and wants it to be special. It has something to do with being Catholic (I went to church again this weekend BTW) in the respect that it directs his morals to a point and he values me as a person and not just casual sex (again I know we've talked about the BJ = sex rule, but perhaps at least some aspect can be saved as being something a little more special - even disregarding the religion entirely).

I kind of wish I had waited or approached this topic a little differently - like I said in the opening, I'm really okay with it. Literally every act of tenderness and coupleness and all that stuff in a relationship that is exciting is there - and more. I don't think anything is wrong.

That is why I got a vasectomy. The thing is I want more kids, I always wanted a big family. Not in this situation.

That's just one point of view. If he had been willing they would have already had sex, and Rachel would have been fine with that too. And there would have been nothing wrong with that as long as both parties were willing. All the tenderness and excitement and "looking out for her" could still be there too. A man can choose to control himself and exercise discipline in many ways.
