Just when you think Sarah Palin cant get any stupider

You can afford private insurance for hundreds of dollars a month yet can't afford a plat membership for $11.97/month on a health and fitness website that you post on multiple times per day?

ok, now that's just silly. :)

plat represents a rather poor value proposition.

you dont need health insurance bor, thats what teh joose is for.

It was teh joose that gave me a heart issue bro. Haven't touched it in 3 years. I'll do some low dose Test cream but no more winnie, dbol, var....none of it. I'm healthier now than I've ever been in my life but I'm still not stupid enough to drop good health insurance, not after the bills I've had to pay off....which could have been alot worse.

I figured a well-to-do type with a pay-your-fair-share attitude would let loose of $11.97/month to support a site dedicated to something as important as health and fitness.

what happened to your heart? were you cycling irresponsibly or was it simply the joose in general?

if you can establish an agreed-upon definition for that term, at least for the sake of the present discussion, then it becomes far easier to compare history to the current situation. then, maybe, you can say that obama, et al. are attempting to nationalize something.

That's a great point. I'll even narrow it down, because I'm seriously (no sarcasm) interested in what Mr. dB really believes.

I'll make a statement that doesn't rely on any debatable definitions:

Had the health care bill that passed the US house of representatives become law, it would have set a cascade of events into place that would ultimately result in the government effectively becoming the sole provider of the health insurance function as we know it today.

Let's see if he disagrees with that.

you honestly don't beleive that wealthy people would still carry their own private insurance? you're not as smart as you pretend to be. 50% of the country would still be demanding private insurance for which they would invariably get better treatment for. remember supply and demand plunk? would the industry get scaled back, yes. Would the companies remaining be flush...yep! You just made private health care a coveted high value product (read high margin) product.
