Approved Log Ultimate Strength Cycle - Strongman Competition Log

The doc ordered an MRI for the knee. Says it's most likely a meniscus tear...
Once again, I'm open to any advice.

So far for something like a meniscus tear I've heard that these help:
- DMSO gel
- wolverine stack
- Cartilax
- Pentosan Polysulfate (no idea where to get this)

Anything else I could leverage to help? HGH maybe?
Do you have any good allied health practitioners around you? Maybe a physio/osteo is worth going to see? Considering you've got notes as to what is wrong/what hurts already, it'd be fairly simple for them to create a rehab plan for you to start moving in the direction of recovery

Already seeing a physio regularly, but now we know what to do exactly like you said. Still gotta book an MRI, but the availabilities are late November around here. I just want to know if it requires operation or not. My guess is it doesn't, it got much better since the peak pain a few weeks back.

If it's shown signs of improvement then that's super reassuring bro, hopefully the MRI comes back with a good result!

Week 1

A few sleepless nights trying to save the cat's life so training has been inconsistent, but the little bastard is back on track.

Working around the knee pain has been challenging but I still managed to smash a PR on the strict barbell press without a hard belt !!

Overhead Strict Press:
6 reps at 60kg
3 reps at 80kg
2 reps at 90kg
1 rep at 100kg PR without hard belt with more in the tank (video)

With my hard belt I'd put my strict press somewhere around 110kg atm, which is the best it's ever been, and very promising for the push press.

Dumbbell shrugs:
20 reps at 35 kg per hand
15 reps at 50kg per hand
15 reps at 60kg per hand
15 reps at 70kg per hand

Dumbbell one hand overhead press:
7 singles at 50kg

Standing Calve raise machine:
4 sets of 15 reps at 165kg (machine goes up to 185)
