Well then let's roll with your logic for a moment. Why not raise the minimum wage to $25 per hour so we can be assured that even the most economically vulnerable in our society can take home at least $50,000 per year? Would you support that?

Who said anything about raising the minimum wage to totally unnecessary and unsustainable levels? Im just refuting your point that minimum wage laws are unnecessary. What happened to the guy who said that he would take a $7.25 hour job? After i broke it down u realize just how impossible it is. That is minimum wage right now. Think its luxury living? Can u survive on that per month let alone raise a family. I hardly think so. So easy to downplay when ur living in the ivory tower.

Have you ever thought that minimum wage jobs were not meant to support family on?
If you look at most min wage jobs they are for high school or college students jobs. Not meant to support a fucking family. And nobody is entitled to a job that supports a damn family. You get that minimum wage job while a student, then graduate to bigger and better and better things. Didnt graduate HS or college? Boo fucking hoo thats your problem you suck at life.

Dude, you forgot the 4 late model cars in the garage. How could you omit someones basic right to transportation? Its practically laid out right there in the constitution under the commerce clause im sure.

Excellent point. People are never truly free unless the have access to transportation. It's a fundamental human right -- how can you have freedom of association when you can't travel to your associates?

Iobviously you dont undersrand what you read. You said that i was advocating raising the minimum wage and was detrimental to the economy and that we should raise the minimum wage to $25 so everyone can live it up. Sound familiar? My comment was that i was advocating no such thing.

Is that what you think? The real truth is that as the american economy has transitioned from a high payi g manufacturing economy to a much lower paying service economy many of the jobs are paying minimum wage and have very few benefits. Why? B coz these companies you say will take care and look oit for their workers are in fact finding any way to cut costs to boost their bottom line. The easiest way is to cut employee benefits and payroll.
