HP Academic program is not working but they said they will be available to the public for 100$ and 150$ starting the 20th at 7am

Amazon will probably be switching over tonight,

Best Buy and Target physical stores will be selling them at these prices as well starting tomorrow so if you got nothing to do tomorrow morning then I'd head there a little early before they open.

Any sites that switch over tonight I will post up. I already bought two but I want to help out anyone else with this deal.

Oh! If your located near a Fry Electronics DON'T BOTHER they sent their inventory of HP touchpads back to HP
 
As in if you tried to sign up for a student account right now, the prices would still be the normal 400+ prices its not switching over for now. But if you got your order in with it already I think you should be good...I haven't received a confirmation email yet though and when I check my order it says "Item being processed"

Yeah I did. I signed up for the academic thing and the price changed to $99. I haven't got the confirmation email, but funds cane out of paypal.

Wonder if they will cancel the transaction
 
I paid with my credit card I really don't think they would cancel the orders since its gonna go on sale tomorrow anyways which is only a few hours away so if they did cancel the orders I'd be surprised and PISSED

I have no idea probably give it to my kid he's four and is always playing on my iphone or my moms he likes playing angry birds and at the least I can load up tom and jerry videos on it for him to watch when we are in the car. The other one can be used for bathroom entertainment
 
Prob just buy a cheap laptop ... need something that will read a DVD that I can set on the piano for instructions
 
It worked for me guis. plus when i was i about to pay a coupon box popped up. some of them didn't work but save15hp worked! took another $15 off. I got the 32g for like 132 plus tax payed 146.31. snagged another one for my brother before they went out of stock.

2 32g tabs=$282.62

pick3, from what Ive read your order will be canceled by MC. I havent rec'd confirmation email either, but people who have ordered an hour before me got their shit canceled.

If you go to the HP website they are selling them directly from there.

If you ordered all of them from HP its ok to no recieve your confirmation email yet. I waited for an hour to talk to costumer service and they said to allow 24 hours for confirmation emails because once people jumped on the deal they been playing catch up. Items probably wont finish processing and start shipping on monday. As long as they have already deducted the money from you then you are in good shape and you can always check the status of your order here https://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/...mpid=in_R329_prodexp/hhoslp/split/orderstatus

Got a confirm email from MC...no confirm from HP yet. People who had their MC orders canceled received a confirm then cancel email an hour or two later.

Best Buy packed them up and sent them back to HP, damn bitches, Walmart has them for 16GB $99 and 32GB $149, you might get crap from them saying they dont price match their own website (which is BS BTW) tell them to check with the warehouse scanner and NOT the regular price checker, I just scavenger hunted all Walmarts in my area and all were sold out except one that had 3 32gb for $599, bitches refused to price match to $149 until they used the warehouse scanner and they had to input it manually, manager wanted one and said "are you sure you want all 3?" to which i almost laughed and told him to go fuck himself since at first he was a huge douche.... turns out a used 16GB in Costa Rica is $380 so I'll be selling a new 32GB there that will pay for mine and hubby's :D I might actually sell 2, keep one and pay medical bills...

it''s sold out at walmart.com but select the store pickup option, it might let you buy and pick up in store.

Sam's club has it too, online only!

I got 3 @ walmart.....
has bluetooth, 1.2G processor, supports flash, apps, 16 or 32gb storage AND extendable memory, you can skype, chat, facebook, youtube, run multiple programs at the same time, it's an ebook reader, mp3 player, it's the same price or cheaper than a kindle with a dozen functions more, cant really go wrong....

MC did indeed cancel my order. Still have that pending order through HP. Hopefully that goes through on Monday.

HP says they will continue to support and update their WebOS per Bloomberg.

Pick, I rec'd both emails. Confirm then an hour or so later a cancellation.

Still no confirm email from HP, but I have my order screen saved and from what Ive read from folks who have called HP, confirm emails will be sent out next week when orders are shipped.
 
No, the confirm email said card wouldnt be charged until shipping. I paid with my amex...charges take a day or so to show up anyway.

I bought it A for resale abroad and B because of functionality, my husband wanted a kindle, this takes care of that and more, he already has kindle app installed and is browsing books....

Of course they would say that. I believe them, but I'd be more inclined to believe them if there was a new licensee for the WebOS.

There are very cheap Android tablets around now. They should get cheaper soon as the new stock comes out by Q4 for Christmas.
 
i have to run a bunch of errands, so i'm gonna stop by staples and see if they have them (apparently they're selling them at that price in store only)
