Zinc alone is it as good as ZMA

Anyone knows if taking only zinc tablets is as good as ZMA. Since most of ZMA's benefits are due to zinc, eg free tes booster.

Zinc doesn't boost free test.
You need zinc to produce test, so if you are deficient at all, your test won't be at it's highest possible level.
A good vitamin and mineral supplement won't give you anymore benefit.

I have used Cytodyne Z-Mass before and did not get any size or strength gains. It helped me fall asleep faster and put me into a more deeper sleep!

I now just use 30mg of zinc before I goto sleep same results and it cost me $3 for 12 weeks!

zinc is important for overall health.

Its more important then Vit C when you are ill.

Should always supplement with it and a Daily mulit won't supply enough. Most people are zinc deficient and don't even know it.

less zinc is better than more zinc imo... as with any heavy metal that could build up to toxic levels in the brain.

zinc is only needed in near trace amounts

to much zinc is defintly bad having less then you need is bad for your immunce systems and a host of other things.

Zinc is also great for huge white cum shots!, how much (mgs) should be taken/supplemented, on a daily basis, to help test levels??? and is there such thing as too much?

25-50mg is all you need a day! Yes you can take too much which is unhealthy.

The only research that has proven increased endogenous production of testosterone is when zinc is combined with b-vitamins and magnesium in the correct ratio. Thus the creation of a plethora of brands creating supplements with zinc magnesium and aspertame(b vitamins) in approximately the same ration.

I'm getting 50 mg of zinc from my multivitamin, which i take in the morning and after my workouts in the afternoon. So taking ZMA before bed would be too much? That would be like 80 mg of zine. How much is too much??

the RDA of zinc is 15 mg. One can safely take up to 10 times this amount with out seeing any adverse affects. that's 150 mgs per day. See article below. I wouldn't worry about taking too much, but if any of the symptoms below occur I would lower the levels.

article from atsdr Public health announcement.
Taking too much zinc into the body through food, water, or dietary supplements can also affect health. The levels of zinc that produce adverse health effects are much higher than the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) for zinc of 11 mg/day for men and 8 mg/day for women. If large doses of zinc (10-15 times higher than the RDA) are taken by mouth even for a short time, stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Ingesting high levels of zinc for several months may cause anemia, damage the pancreas, and decrease levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol.

Eating food containing very large amounts of zinc (1,000 times higher than the RDA) for several months caused many health effects in rats, mice, and ferrets, including anemia and injury to the pancreas and kidney. Rats that ate very large amounts of zinc became infertile. Rats that ate very large amounts of zinc after becoming pregnant had smaller babies. Putting low levels of certain zinc compounds, such as zinc acetate and zinc chloride, on the skin of rabbits, guinea pigs, and mice caused skin irritation. Skin irritation from exposure to these chemicals would probably occur in humans. EPA has determined that because of lack of information, zinc is not classifiable as to its human carcinogenicity.
