Yellow vs. Brown (Rice)

Just curious what the thought here is. Yellow just has a much more appealing taste to me. The stats for the stuff I'm using are below.. It's not instant, takes 25 minutes or so to cook.

'Vigo' Yellow Rice
1 cup prepared
Cal 190
Fat 0
Cholesterol 0
Sodium 730mg
Potass 0
Carb 43g
(diet fiber .5g)
Protein 5g

Vit C - 20%
Iron - 15%
Thiamin - 15%
Folic Acid - 20%

Obviously this is part of my bulking diet, I wouldn't eat this stuff when cutting.. I usually eat it with a diced up chicken breast for lunch, and then for dinner I use 3 flour tortillas and put the rice (1 cup) and chicken breasts (1 1/2) diced up in the tortillas and microwave.

Would brown rice really make much a difference, or are they pretty comparable?

higher GI

and you are getting a shit load of crap carbs with those tortillas

eh, I was letting that go since I was bulking. You think switching to LC tortillas would make a difference? I was thinking I'd lose calories.

even though you're bulking you still want to eat "clean" carbs and avoid more fat build up than what you will naturally get when bulking. Bulk with oats, potatos, beans, rice, some breads, etc... Crap carbs are crap carbs regardless of what type of diet you're on, a little bit here and there won't kill you but I wouldn't make it part of a regular diet.
