Outside of the fact that this dr is a loon, its fairly common for people who say they dont want kids, to change their minds down the road or to find themselves with kids. Not saying thats you, but it does happen

yep. And in today's litigious society, a doc might find himself being sued if he didn't try to make damn sure a couple truly didn't want kids before doing a procedure or prescribing a course of treatment that might lead to infertility in someone.

If you were 40 with 2 kids they probably wouldn't.
