Wrist Pain

Help... I just started to get this horriable wrist pain.
I noticed it's after Squats. It must be my form... but I can't find a way to hold the bar that feels secure... Any suggestions?

:) I wasn't going to say its Carpal Tunnel, could be because you stressed your joints in your wrists from repetitive motion and need a rest :D Sometimes I get shooting pain in my right wrist, it lasts for about a week, then goes away. Just trying to get to the cause :)
 
I have wrist pain also, mostly when doing shrugs or deadlifts.. I use wrist wraps, i get a really good grip with those. However, they are not a soultion to your problem, just a suggestion to help you for now. You'll need to work on your grip, that takes time. I still haven't mastered it...

Your wrists and bicep tendons take a beating with WSB. Think about it...You are holding the bar and putting pressure in the palms of your hands 4x per week. Gm's, Squats, Bench press, Board Press.

Learn to move your hands out wide...it will pay off in the long run. Do you have a good pair of wrist wraps?

I did front squats last night and as a result have wrist pain...keeping my elbows up puts a lot of of strain on them. I am at a computer at work for most of the day so as a result my forearms are t-i-g-h-t. I've been periodically stretching them...probably not nearly enough.:(
