I love how it makes a difference that the animal's cute. How many of you who said you could never kill a puppy have no problem eating meat? Someone has the kill the pig/cow/chicken.

But they're ugly so it's ok. :cow:

I'd kill a cute little puppy for $100.

You wanna make it interesting? How many would kill a puppy for $1,000,000 knowing it was the beloved pet of a child you know?

yeah because survival and killing a domesticated animal for fun or some sick hypothetical situation is the same.

how about i give you a million dollars to kill yourself

I know this is a dumb (kinda sick) question that would never happen but it's still interesting because either you are willing to cross the line of committing a wrong for personal gain or not (this is assuming that killing a puppy is wrong). Since I would eat a chicken for dinner no problem, or kill a baby rat easily for a million dollars I would probably end up justifying killing the puppy for some amount of money. I'm capable of killing a puppy for monetary gain.

I don't know if a million dollars is enough (it might be, I would probably do it for less) but there probably is an amount of money where I would accept the offer. :worried: I know I couldn't curb stomp an innocent animal or end it's life in a violent and bloody manner but if I could kill it in a more psychologically distant manner (gun, poison etc) I could go through with it.

wow, you are fucked up.

sounds real "christian"

i can only imagine what type of other sick and twisted situations some of you would do for money. where do you draw the line? if you'd kill a puppy for money, you'd probably kill people for money. or ruin society for money.

The whole "would you guy do this gay act for money" is different because that's ONLY affecting you.

people like some of you guys are exactly why the world becomes a fucked up place and situations like Enron and Tyco and genocide exist. because if there's "a price" for everything, fucked up people like you guys are willing to take on that.

integrity and a sense of morality is lost in society.

thank you but i'll fucking EARN my money

Lol I knew I'd be judged by some for admitting that, and remember I didn't actually kill a puppy, okay? I was just being honest, I could have lied and said that I wouldn't consider it. Greed is in all of us. I just acknowledge mine and know that at some point I may not be able to resist certain temptations. This is assuming killing a puppy is "wrong" too. It seems hypocritical to me to happily chow down on a chicken breast and not admit I wouldn't consider killing a puppy for a million dollars. FWIW I would never kill a human being so it might be easier for me to cross this line and commit a "wrong" for monetary gain because of my personal ethics on animals as insensitive as that might seem.

Yes, I'm a terrible person (and more of a cat person)

I don't think it's hypocritical to be fine killing an animal for food, but not like the idea of killing an animal for no good reason. One serves a natural purpose, one is just pointless cruelty. I eat cows and chickens, but I'd be equally appalled if someone went around slaughtering them for no higher use too.

It's like telling me since I was ok with putting down my suffering dog, I should be fine stabbing a healthy one.

You can't survive without eating meat? Blueta does.

And where the fuck did you come up with killing for fun? Where did I say that.

You're aguing with yourself, bro. You obviously didn't understand a word I typed.

No, in this situation the outcome isn't a full stomach but years worth of income. It's okay to kill and eat a chicken and other animals 5 times a day to be fit and healthy but it's not okay for me to consider the death of an animal for years worth of income? Either killing an animal is wrong or it's not wrong. This is why I think I'd ultimately have a price tag in this situation. Sorry guys! :(

Lets remember this situation hasn't happened and isn't going to happen. Lol.

Guess that's where we differ. I don't think it's either right or wrong. The purpose of the kill makes many of shades of gray, IMO. So I think in some situations is fine and in some situations, it totally is not.
