I am working out differently to get my bodyfat down some more. I am going to try to get as lean as possible before bulking in the fall. My diet is 2600 cals per day, which is 400 below my maintenance level. I am eating high protein, medium carbs, and low fat. The carbs I do get are mostly from whole wheat breads, potatoes, and rice. This is my workout routine to accompany it.
Monday- Chest 45-60 minutes, 15-30 minutes high intensity cardio.
Tuesday- Legs 45-60 minutes, 15-30 mintues high intensity cardio.
Wednesday- Triceps- 30-45 mintues, 15-20 minutes abs, 15 minutes high intensity cardio.
Thursday- Biceps- 30-45 minutes, 15-20 minutes abs, 15 minutes high intensity cardio.
Friday- Back- 45-60 minutes, 15-30 minutes high intensity cardio.
Saturday- Shoulders/Traps- 30-45 minutes, 15-20 minutes abs, 15 minutes high intensity cardio.
I've never been strong at cutting. I'm not fat, and have never been. But I have never been shredded, about 12% naturally all my life. I am sure that some muscle will be sacrificed, but I don't think that alot will be. Right now my goals are to lose all the bodyfat possible. I want to go into my bulking cycle real lean so any added fat I get won't put me way behind for next spring. Thanks for any input guys.
