Working a BB show - My first time!

Well today was interesting......it was a good show, about 40 competitors so it wasn't a huge show......I was SUPER BUSY.....the guy running the show for the federation had people who were supposed to help not show up - so I ended up running the check in and then the ticket sales/protein bar sales......My feet are killing me and I'm beat - but I had fun, got a goody bag and a few free protein bars......

Oh and I saw Fred today.... He actually said HI! to me & talked to me.....he said to me "I guess you hate me." I was nice & said "Nooooooo, not at all." Oh and I saw one of his Figure gals outside SMOKING during a break....Nice!!

There was a male BBer who dressed up like Superman, one who twirled a stick and a guy who did a Robot routine - very creative!! One of the Figure gals had an Indian-inspired suit for the night show and another figure gal who's black wore a silver lame suit - VERY sparkly & it really really looked good on her - really brought out her color & just POPPED on stage...oh and she also walked out with a matching silver jacket on....neat!!

On the bad news front - I saw the promoter who did the Sept. show I did last year & he won't be doing that show this year....he cancelled it....

Knee is a little achy - was hurting a bit standing around so much.....I was way way way too busy watching the cash drawer to be able to take pics...

Q-tip - I'll put it this way, Fred had me eating about 2,500 cals the week before a show.....

It's 8 feet..... Naaaah - did a good deed for the day & was NICE to him.....made him feel good....

Oh and I have a GINORMOUS blister on my calf from the brace rubbing today....about 1 inch wide x 2-3 inches long & it sticks out about 1/2 inch....ouch!!
