I have friends in Kentucky somewhere. My friend worked for the secret service and when he retired he and his wife moved there.

He works part time at some prison somewhere. I'll call them and see where they live.

Kentucky is a beautiful state. How did you end up there?

I grew up in Kentucky. This is where most of my family lives. I've lived other places though.

I thought Atlanta...maybe Florida or Cali. Too nice for NYC.

I lived in florida for about 6 years in the early nineties and for one year last year.

Yeah, I had a bf for 4 years in undergrad who was full italian. His father and mom came over from italy to America. They taught me to make gnocchi and sauce and homemade pastas. I make good white sauces, too, but they didn't teach me to make the white sauce. I never make dough and roll out pasta anymore, but he gnocchi are pretty easy to make, really. No rolling required.

I actually learned to make it from my bf's mother and father who were honest to God real Italians who could speak Italian and didn't get some schtick from goodfellas, unlike you, scrunchy boy.

It is stupid to expect the man to pay. I am always prepared to pay my own way on a first date. I would never write someone off just cause they wanted to go dutch.

It takes a woman with a pretty low self esteem if she thought that a man paying for dinner means that he has bought her sexual favors for the night.

On my last first date I was like listen - this is who I am, yahda yahda, who are you what do you like - yahda (are you going to eat that piece of sushi?) yahda - everything was very much on the table without being tacky and it was refreshing, it was like hanging out with an old friend catching up on life...

...it's been that way ever since.
