they are mormons. she homeschools, and he used to be a state representative. I believe they make most of their clothes, and she runs a VERY tight ship.

I think they drive around in a church bus. or they used to- now they probably have a regular school bus by now.

btw, when they go out to eat, they go to a place where kids eat free. seems a little unfair.

Yeah, I saw them do the kids eat free thing. Now that is just WRONG. It seems like it would behoove them to eat out every night if they could find that deal every night of the week somewhere.

Watching that show about them sort of reminded me of the Von Trappe family -- very ordered and almost military like. I guess it would have to be or things would just be insane.

A sculpture my parents know who lives in the boonies of my province is in his 60's and has 13 kids. His wife is now preggies with baby #14. She's in her late 40's.
They are SUPER religious ppl. seems like only the oddly religious do weird stuff like this.

You can get that tested now at about 6 weeks. However, I doubt she would test for it, because she wouldn't have an abortion anyway, thus making it a moot point to find out before birth.

I don't have any problem with them choosing to have so many kids. They take care of them. The kids are polite and kind to each other from what I saw in the TV show. They are financially secure. I say more power to them. I just can't imagine how any woman could be pregnant that many times. Holy uncomfortable life...lol.

yeah he looks very old. If you had 100000000000000 kids, you would to..hah!

No. I really don't.

However, my family has lots of kids. I'm used to it. My mom was the youngest of 8, and I waited BY FAR the latest of any of the grandchildren to have children. Most all of my cousins had children by the age 19. They were beginning to whisper among themselves that I must be infertile....lol.
