Woke up @ 5am for nothing....

Man i'm so pissed right now. i woke up at 5 this morning and headed out to the gym. The guy who usually opens up the gym at 5 was there but hadn't unlocked the f*ckin doors. I kept kicking sh*t out the door but he didn't hear me since the gym is in the basement with music blaring. That little punk never opened up the gym even though he was downstairs working out. I think i'm gonna quit that gym and go to one of those new 24 hour gyms that just opened up. Damm i think i can afford an extra 10$ per month for convenience.I just had to get this rant out. Anyone else expierance crappy shit like this at 5:30 in the morning.

That happens sometimes at our gym too. It's supposed to open at 5:30, but usually they'll let the regulars in about 5:10. Sometimes they have a substitute who doesn't know how things work (but quickly learns ). On rare instances a morning worker oversleeps. That never happens more than once to any one of them, because I don't think they're ever able to sleep again after facing our angry crowd at the door!

I thought i was the only one- usually when I meet a friend the woman that works there lets me in even without a membership...then the one day i get all prepped for the "hell" chest day- she calls in sick and want to charge me $10 for one day.....WTF!!!

Yeah, that's a problem, especially with the more hardcore, no aerobic-class or "spinning" type gyms where there aren't instructors, etc. pressuring the staff to open on time. Last Saturday, I went to my gym a little before 11 AM - it's supposed to open at 8. No one was there...drove 20 minutes (and another 20 minutes back home) for nothing, and had to go back mid-afternoon. Damn annyoing, especially if it's what I suspect happened, and someone just partied a bit too hearty the night before...

That sucks bro, my old hardcoregym was only open about 250 days per year. It was owned by a guy and his wife. Everytime after or before a holiday week he would close for an additional day or two. Pretty fucked up when you're in the middle of your cycle huh.
