I think it depends on who's side the public is on when the deal's done. These times could be critical for Jay. If I were him I'd just do my own fucking car show already.

Jay isn't that good. Hope it flops. It's weird I like the later time slots better. Dave was OK and Jimmy blew like Jay. But Craig Ferguson and Conan, I just loved to watch and was nearly entertained every time.

All three (Letterman, Leno, Conan) seemed to have stepped their game up since this NBC meltdown. I wonder what kind of deal they worked out with Conan.

i would say yes. . .but jay had some pretty good comic chops once upon a time. . .it's up to him i suppose. . .he's gonna have to work his ass off, though.

I doubt it - but since it's costing them $40-$80M to pay off Conan -- it'll take them YEARS to make up for that through leno.

Expect NBC honchos to be fired left, right and center for losing the nwetwork 10's of millions with this 'let's put leno at 10pm' clusterfuck. It's not a good feeling to wake up int he morning and realize you lost your company $80 million.

I guess I will be watching Ferguson at night now, can't wait to see where Conan goes ....

and no I do not like jay or letterman, never have, thought conan was his best in his old slot ....

They should've never changed a thing. It was perfect how it was before the 10pm gig. I actually thought at first it was because Jay was retiring to do a car show. That would have been better for both him and NBC than this.

i'm pretty sure it is going to flop hard. leno has the 50+ audience locked up, but he has killed his younger audience with this. aside from the fact he's not funny anyways.


i'm hoping conan moves to fox and starts at 11pm. going on a half hour earlier he'll get much better guests.

Leno fuckin blows...never has been funny
