Hi,

I've been training and dieting towards a show for the last 13 weeks. I started around 208 and now I'm 183. I am aiming for an upcoming bodybuilding show May 2. I don't want to embarrass myself if I'm not ready. Do you think I look 5 weeks away yet? I would be competing in Novice 176lb.

awesome progress, what did u diet and cardio and training look like, any steroids or fat burners?
 
My current cycle is:
1g Test
1g EQ

The last 4 weeks I'm going to run 700mg Winny and 525mg Tren A (have limited supply of these so saving for last month)

My diet is extremely restrictive, less than 40 carbs a day at this point. I am not a naturally lean guy...I used to be a cross country/track runner in college and was 5'11" 140 and NEVER saw my abs so I am happy personally with where I am just not sure I'm ready for bodybuilding.

No protein shakes, all from food. 2.5 pounds a day of meat which is almost always 96% lean ground beef (fuck chicken!)

As for training I train almost every day, not a ton of cardio because the weight loss has gone pretty well without it and have wanted to keep it to a few days a week until I'm totally stuck. I used to lift real heavy, backed off a little bit and keep things in the 10-12 rep range.
 
That's awesome bro!

Even if you don't dial in as tight and as lean as you wish(we all hope to be ridiculously shredded), I would still compete. Get in the experience. In 5 weeks though, with the tren and winny, you should be able to get pretty freakin lean. You look great so far!
 
thanks for the encouragement everyone.

i know 1g Test/1g EQ is a lot of gear. I really am planning on a year or more off of steroids after this show so I figured it was ok. ive done my blood work, everything is fine. somehow on 2g of gear a week my blood pressure is better than before i started. probably lack of carbs and no water retention is helping.

the only lame thing thats happened is all my lifts are drastically down from losing so much weight.

anyway thanks again everyone for the nice words
