Well last two games I put a lot of K at Van and lost big. So tonight I changed and put some toward Boston. Lets see what happens

Boston wins game 6, Van wins Game 7 to take the cup. Home ice is huge in this series; Van was the better team by a good margin tonight, only the Refs bending them over prevented a larger margin of victory.

bro, i am so bad at this, I have been wrong 3 out of 5 games so far

All penalties were valid so what are you talking about?
The real issue is if the Bruins had of capitalize on one of those four first PP it may have been a whole different game.
God, the Bruins PP sucks balls. He's got Greg Bleepin Campbell out there for the PP, and Seguin on the bench? Claude is whacked sometimes.
The loss of Hortons goals is starting to show through, although I do question Vancouvers D sustaining itself in Boston, they're going through a cluster fuck with Rome and Bieska out, i think it was overshadowed/not an issue last night due to the B's inept offense.
I hope this one is going 7

Bieksa isn't out bro. You're thinking of Hamhuis.

The PP is god awful though. I have no idea why Campbell was getting all those PP minutes. Seguin not being on the PP is a joke. The only knock against the kid is that he can be a defensive liability. So you give him minutes when they aren't likely to score!

Last change has been huge all series.

It was the BLATANT non-calls (especially the too many men and the holding the stick) where the Bruins were concerned that were absolute bullshit. You're the ultimate homer if you think that game was reffed fairly.

P.S. Who in the blue fuck do you think you are to question the hockey analysis of a Canadian, you silly yank?!?!

you can Ortiz (and me) homers but it's not like you aren't unbiased. You hate the Bruins more than any other team so I'm not going to you to be objective.

So you are going to deny the Bruins had six men on the ice when they took posession of the puck during that four-on-four?

You are going to deny the chicken-wing grab of the stick?

SURE I hate the Bruins, but I'm not talking out of my ass here...I'm giving you specifics for which there is video evidence. Hell, if you'd been watching the game on the CBC's feed, they even had a still-frame shot with numbers labeling the Bruins on the ice when Ryder touches the puck...it's undeniable.

As much as I hate the Bruins, I'd be just as annoyed if they were getting jobbed by the refs; it's the STANLEY CUP FINALS, for Christ's sake...let the teams decide the game. Refs can't be fucking up when there's so much on the line.

While I'm ranting, I might as well get this off my chest: the fucking linesmen have been doing a shit job during these playoffs too. There has been far too much grandstanding by these bums, constantly tossing centermen out of the faceoff circle for petty reasons...it has even directly affected the outcome of some games...some in overtime.

I'm not going to debate officiating with you. There have been missed calls both ways, shit happens. The Canucks won that game, so it's not like you can argue they got "jobbed."

Vancouver not getting calls is their own fault. The refs know they are a cheap team so they don't get the benefit of the doubt. They have a track record for diving and embellishing so if something is close they aren't going to get it. That may or may not be fair, but play the game right from the get go and you don't have that problem.

Burrows tripping himself was disgraceful last game. Seriously how can anyone like this guy? And while we are talking about it..if the ref calls an embellishment penalty, how can the Bruins take a penalty too? If you are admitting the player faked/caused it, how can you penalize the other team? I've never understood that.

I def saw the too many men on the ice, nbc never even pointed it out and just kept going. I wouldn't say Vancouver got "jobbed" ...seriously?
Boston has to play 60 minutes and out hit Vancouver (47van-27bos game 5)to win.

Glove side and high

 I'm almost 35 and I've been a hockey fan since 1988 Bourque, Lemelin etc vs Grant Fuhr and Gretzky since then I was hooked, even got me playing hockey. I WAS pissed for 2-3 years for the 04 lockout, but I came back.
There's nothing like playoff hockey.

B's pulled it out, love watching them turn Luongo into a head case. If Boston wins game 7, Luongo should be put on suicide watch.

The last time they did this to Luongo, he turned around and posted a shutout on the return home. This series is all about home ice.

The streak is in the favor of being broken eventually, going by odds

please contain your hatred brah

big hugs

seeing as the nucks have barely won each of the first 3 home games, one would think the bruins are due.

much worse teams than boston don't lose 4 straight games in the same venue.

Although the score was close in first two games, Vancouver dominated.. speed, passing and even hitting. Thomas was the reason for Boston being close. He gives up rebounds but no Canuck is even close. Ok B's D deserves credit too.

Of course both teams are banged up but injuries and suspension to Rome will hurt Vancouver more. I like Bruins tonight, especially if they score first.

The Bruin's PK has been unbelievable. The Canucks look like Boston on their powerplays.

Homer or not, Campbell and Paille are 2 of the best PK'ers in the NHL right now.

Sedins didn't show up again; so help me, the next idiot Canucks fan who gushes on about how great the Sedins are within earshot of me is getting punched in the fucking face. Gutless euro-fag regular season stats-padding floater pussies is all they are.

meanwhile in Vancouver

The guy was obviouly not too bright...he should have taken off the jersey when the game concluded, rolled it up tight, tucked it into the back of his pants, and gone back to his home/hotel in his T-shirt. Why put a target on yourself like that?
I'd wear my shit with pride. If the Canucks had won in Boston I wouldn't be headhunting fans. I'd be pissed at the TEAM, not the fans.

Shit is just unacceptable. Vancouver/Boston isn't even a rivalry. Boston/NY fans HATE each other, but if you wear the opposing jersey to Yankee Stadium/Fenway, you can expect to get ribbed pretty good, but you aren't going to get beat up.

Hard to place blame on the guy who got hurt.

Just don't wear a SF Giants jersey in LA.

I didn't say it was fair...just that it was stupid. You have to know there are going to be those types that will take a shot at you born out of irrational anger and frustration. I wouldn't KO some guy just for wearing enemy gear...that's retarded. But if this guy was getting carried away lipping off to drunken kids...well...it's hard to feel too sorry for him; even though he is the victim, he is somewhat responsible for knowing what his surroundings are and what type of reaction his actions could cause. It's like your mom and dad told you back in the day: don't go out looking for trouble, because you just might find it.

tons of great pics in the stanley cup images thread.. and there is video of the whole celebration with NBC's commentary stripped so you can hear what all the players are saying, it's amazing.

yeah, I watched it last night and went through the whole pic thread...epic
