Wide shoulders?

Hey guys just wondering what shoulder exercizes will help me get that broad shoulder look. LIke the boulder shoulder. I want to get some shoulder size.

Any exercise that hits your upper back, lats, traps, etc. Lat pulls, chin ups, upright rows... I'm sure someone will stop by and elaborate further.

I've noticed a broadnening in my shoulders from doing core lifts three times a week in 5x5. Incline Bench, Standing Barbell Press, Deadlifts, Rows and pull-ups seem to work. IMO the appearance of broad shoulders doesn't come from just working shoulders, but from building all of your upper back, shoulders, and chest, as well as creating a smaller waist line - if you've got some extra weight down there - (i.e. squats and cardio).

Work those lats, wide pullups/pulldowns are great. I superset them with lying dumbbell pullovers. Basic heavy shoulder presses add round shoulders. I've learned that a wider upperbody makes your waist look smaller.

do lateral raises with a weight that you could hold at the peak of the lift with good form for a few seconds (otherwise its too heavy and youre just swinging it)

Agree with the rest. Wanted to again emphasize that the "big shoulder" look does NOT come from big delts.

Certainly, well-developed deltoids are necessary, but more than that you need thick traps, wide lats, a broad chest and back, and a narrow waist in order to pull it off completely. And of course, you would look ridiculous with a thick torso and shoulders with skinny arms.

In my opinion there's no lift that makes you thicker than heavy deadlifts. You also need to move weight on your bench, rows, and pullups. Squats will help with the core development, but don't directly contribute to the broad shoulder look.
