Sprinting and weight training burn glycogen.
"cardio" burns fatty acid.
Cardio burns fat while you're doing it. Sprinting burns fat long after.
You can rip/heal/grow from sprinting, just like weight training.
Here's another light bulb for ya: Powerlifting is like sprinting. Heavy/intense, explosive, short. Whatdya know...I grow like a weed and get leaner and leaner powerlifting.
