I see a lot of immaturity in this thread.

First, I can't believe that grown men are arguing about a race between two 40+ year old men. Guess what, if it was to happen you both would have been a lot slower in real life than you are in your mind.

Second, I never thought that I would see a grown man wish cancer on someone for anything, let alone because they typed something on an internet chat board.

I don't think anyone had any delusions about being a world class athlete. It would have been a fair race. Nothing wrong with a little competition, even for 40 yr olds.
