Good job on the PR....
I did 385 when on a fuckin dumb-ass cycle of way too much shit. I went from 168lbs to 215 in about 14 weeks. Now I am natural and can do 275 for about 6-8 so I figure I can get up 3 plates relatively easy, at least I hope I can. Maybe I'll try it next week.
 
I've done 315 x 13 before...but I will never forget that day I benched 315...nor will I ever forget the day I towel benched with a spot 95lbs.

best gym lift 385, did a 375 in a powerlifting competition. Those 3 wheels sound good banging around, dont they?

The only thing that sucks about trying to get three plates at a meet is that they are usually using five pound collars, which means 325 for three wheels. Unless, of course, they are using hundreds.

I was also very happy when I first hit three plates, but then the bench is my worst lift. It took quite a few years (more than ten).
 
uh, just curious lord ... what the hell were you on? jumping 40 pounds in 3 months sounds incredibly ... well, frigging odd.
 
I was on Sust, hence the name 15 amps every third day 500mgs of eq week 1-10, 300mgs of cyp the first 3 weeks. a shot of 50mg winstrol everyday at week 10-14 and then clomid with only .25mgs of arimedex for the last 6 weeks. I was out of my mind plus i was working at a restaurant and got tons of free food, and had a free gym membership for all the restaurant employees.... real stupid but it did teach me how to train, I followed some powerlifters around and did what they did to excess but damn did I grow....
 
A few weeks ago, I hit 405 once. It was 4 weeks into 500mg testoviron(wk)/300mg primo(wk)/ 75mg fina(day)/100mg proviron(day)

2 days later, I destroyed my rotator
3 days later, I came down with mono, had to stop my cycle, and haven't been to the gym since:bawling:

By the way I am 32 been training 10 +years I'm in the 5 plate club...
 
benched 315 my senior year in high school at 17 and 175 lbs. Hit 405 at 18 and 200 lbs end of freshman year in college. I'm 33 now at 550+ (raw) at 240 lbs and no gear.

Hiting 3 plates is a great feeling though, don't stop there !

also, you guys can add me to the three plate club. it would be 4 plates, but the 2 1/2 pounders were not available:D

Hit the 3 plate club wheni was 18yrsold. Hit the 4 plate club at 21yrsold, hit the 5 plate club at 26yrsold, hit the 6 plate club also at 26yrold.

I curerntly bench 500 for 4 reps 5 on a good day.
455 for 8
405 for 12 plus
315 for 20 plus

in that order in the same workout. Raw benching is the shit! I love it. The 585 was done with a bench shirt. 545 with out. Curerent shirt bench is around 625 give or take. At 242lbs

I could say that i could top that...but i would be lying.

at 3 plates already, aiming for OVER 4 plates by the end of the year (well....before i turn 23)
 
im aiming for 2 plates before i turn 15w/o a shirt hopefully... 3 plates before i turn 17 (im giving myself time)... got 3 more months to up my bench 30 lbs! i dunno if i can get it!.. im also aiming to be a lean 150 by my birthday... 15 lbs of muscle! thats gonna be hard
 
On cycle I've done 405 x 1, 365 for 5 or 6 and 315 for 12.

Off cycle, and cutting I am now doing 315 for about 8 and hoping to hold there until next cycle.
 
Hit 315lbs when I was 21 years old. I'm now 23 and although I haven't gone up that much(365lbsx3), I deffiantly look a lot better with a lot less bf. Good job, keep it up.
 
I hit the 3 plate club 2 years ago on the flat bench. Recently i hit the 3 plate club on the incline 325x3! I love that feeling of putting on all of those plates

Holy Shit. When I was 15, I struggled at 10 reps with the empty bar. Not to mention I was about as thick as the bar was.
