I have all sorts of horrid constipation issues with higher protein levels. Thinking about adjusting them for good!

HOWEVER: I will tell you secrets for making monster shit (okay, not huge secrets, but anyway): Throw oatmeal right in the blender with your shake. Throw milled flax seed in with your shake or whole flax seed taking care to puree it. (Flax seed is available dirt cheap at most health food stores. I got big ass bag awhile back for a few bucks. I got 16 ounces of more expensive, brand name milled flax seed for 8 bucks. Flax seed has a tremendous propensity for absorbing liquid plus contains plenty of insoluble fiber as well.)
Other ways to crap more that are probably a lot less harmful than laxatives: lots of creatine and/or megadoses of vitamin C (upwards of 5 grams a day).
If any of those ways don't work and you're getting plenty of water, I'd say you might seriously have a problem even if you're taking in a lot of protein powder.
