Who has a CC permit?

You texans just need more federal government. That would put and end to that shizzle.

We obviously need fed intervention. Im thinking the 9th Circuit court could explain to us dumb texans how all the amendments are individual rights except the 2nd. Duh its so obvious

My state has an open carry law where no permit is required to carry a hand gun provided it's holstered and in "plain view". I'm thinking of getting a license to carry concealed so I can keep a gun in my car hidden. We have to apply with the county sheriff's office. I had a CC permit a long time ago but it expired. Back then I had to see a judge to get it.

This will give me an excuse to spend more money on a new gun, LOL.

You don't strike me as the type that should be carrying a gun. Mentally I just don't think you're able to connect all the dots upstairs.

wow, I cant believe u can do that just like that, in other countries you need to pass a mental evaluation, I was actually part of the few people authorized to examine others.... I guess I wont be doing that here :(

In some states you need to obtain a letter that shows you've never been institutionalized.

I don't wish to shoot anyone. I just want a gun for protection. Puds, I have shot a glock before a few times. I like big boy guns. :)

There are plenty of revolvers that are big boy guns. Honestly a revolver is the way to go as far as handguns for personal protection. If you need to use it you WILL be in a state of panic. With a semi-auto you might forget to disengage the safety, forget to chamber a round, it could jam, etc. A revolver is better as it's just point and squeeze the trigger.

I have a .38 snub nose revolver. I don't consider it to be a "sissy" gun by any means although any woman would be capable of shooting it. It's reliable and easy to shoot.

Of course for home protection, nothing is better than a shotgun provided there are a few feet between you and your target.
