Who has a CC permit?

My state has an open carry law where no permit is required to carry a hand gun provided it's holstered and in "plain view". I'm thinking of getting a license to carry concealed so I can keep a gun in my car hidden. We have to apply with the county sheriff's office. I had a CC permit a long time ago but it expired. Back then I had to see a judge to get it.

This will give me an excuse to spend more money on a new gun, LOL.

how else would you transfer weapons around? it's state to state i'm sure, but here the only condition is that it can't be loaded in your vehicle if you don't have a CCW.

I think in my state it must be in a case and the ammo must be stored in a different location. I want to keep mine loaded and under my seat or in the console.

it can be loaded, just not chambered.

if it's under your seat or in the center console you'll definitely need a ccw.
