Dont know if anybody here heard about this. After all, it was racism against a white person (which, by most accounts, doesnt exist).

Tennessee Rep. Stacey Campfield attempted to join the local black caucus, and was denied twice based on the color of his skin. Following that, the NAACP called for HIS resignation after he complained that being denied a membership was unconstitutional and racist.

What fucking hypocrites.

The freshman Republican from Knoxville was rebuffed earlier this year when he asked for the Black Caucus’ bylaws and inquired about joining. There are 18 black state lawmakers in Tennessee.

NAACP is one of the most racist organizations around. An asian man can't even get a high profile position in that organization. The top brass are all full-on black. A circle fully closed to anyone who's anything less than that.

They should change the name of "colored" to "black". NAABP.

One instance does not constitute saying "still being done today" when comparing modern times to the 1950s. Besides, there are hundreds of instances where black groups specifically target whites when it comes to violence. Are they labeled as racists? Nah, racism only happens when a white person does it to a minority.

About the TV stations...who owns the station is irrelevant. The fact that the very name of the station is BET throws up a red flag, since the very existence of a WET would not stand at all. Theres a difference between a station that shows "european shows," or "indian shows," or "asian shows" and a station that is labeled Black Entertainment Television.

You and I should try to start a White Entertainment Television and see how we are treated.

Read your reply bro. You said Slavery was 200yrs ago (it was not that long ago) and i said issues still exist today. Have we progressed over the last 55yrs.....this I can not tell you. The world as a whole is a different place....so IMO we are comparing apples to oranges. I can only speak for my time in the flesh on this earth.

The women are thinner today than say back in the 50's and 60's. Marilyn Monroe was a full figured woman and many thought she was the most beautiful. So you see times have changed. Boy do i wish i were alive back then. As I have said b4...i prefer the thicker women. You see they are my destiny and reason for living..hehehe

When Nicholas “Fat Nick” Minucci, 19, a white man, fractured the skull of Glen Moore, 22, an African American, with a baseball bat while yelling racial epithets in Queens on June 29, it became an international news story and sparked scores of articles about how far we have or have not come in dealing with racism in our society. Anthony Ench, 21, has also been arrested in the attack.

The racial attack on Moore was only one of several bias crimes in New York over the past month, including an assault on an unidentified 22-year old Asian woman in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn on July 1 and an attack on Dwan Prince, a gay man in Brownsville, Brooklyn on June 8. But these other incidents did not occur in Howard Beach.

Howard Beach has been notorious since December, 1986, when a black man, Michael Griffith, whose car had broken down in the neighborhood, was set upon by a mob of white people from the neighborhood, and, fleeing, was hit and killed by a car on the highway. Howard Beach is a brand name when it comes to bias violence.

Three young white men were convicted of second degree manslaughter and first degree assault in the 1986 incident. But residents of the predominately white Howard Beach neighborhood were quick to say that racism had nothing to do with the attacks. I never said the funding wasnt cut.

I said he provided them with more money then they had over the past 20 years. He didnt give them what they wanted, nor did Clinton, Bush I, Reagan, Carter, etc. But he did give them substantially more than any of them.

Read what I wrote, and dont put words in my mouth.

I'd feel your side of this story a lot more if I saw you place at least a little blame on your homestate local government (read dem)...i mean the fuckin governor is a dem along with the NO congressional ward. as well a senator and the freakin' mayor of NO...how come you let them slimy cunts off the hook so easy????
