Where is a cheap place to learn martial arts

Aside from bars and whatnot. I am graduating soon and just discovered the martial arts center at school which is dirt cheap (like $8/month) but in the real world it'll cost closer to $50-100/month. How do I end up on the cheap side of that equation when looking for martial arts training centers?

1. Check the YMCA, it should only be 20-40/month.
2. Find any center that meets in someone else's building rather than their own (to save on overhead)

Those are the only ideas I have so far other than just calling every center in the town I end up living in and asking their prices. I'm into Tae Kwon Do right now but could probably switch to another art like Akido or Karate if need be. I am really that cheap, at least if it means paying $30/month instead of $100/month.

Where do you live?
Our YMCA is $75.00/month.
I have been teaching for 20 years and it is NOT worth my time (away from my own kids) to teach for $30/month.

In my country people pay thousands to learn ballet, figure skating and gymnastics but want to learn "life saving skills" for $350.00 a year??? hahahahahahaaaaaaaa FUCKING IDIOTS!

I have spent tens of thousands flying around the globe learning from the best masters in Europe, USA and Japan and then somebody steps to me and want all the info for $350.00/year??? ahahahahaaaa Fuck That!

Go buy a DVD from http://www.blackbeltmag.com/ and become a video master!

30/month isn't bad. If you have 30 students that is $900/month for teaching for 24 hours a month. I want someone who teaches part time. Not to mention all the free gatorade you can drink.

Rest assued I'd never take a class from you no matter the price though.

Rent - $1500/month
Heat
Hydro
Phone
Insurance
Instructor gets paid $0.00
Profit $0.00

Fucking Idiot!

Evan Tanner claims he learned submissions via instructional tapes we he began his career.

YES it depends on how you learn. many people can learn from video others need "hands on" training.

the cheap ass should buy some DVD's then come spar my students :)
