Lets not lose focus of the post ;)

Wise decision Bro & thanks for the inspiring words. Best of luck to you at your show & with life in general. Your a champ in more ways than you know, not only have you done well at your sport, you've helped a lot of people meet their goals & change their lives. I know you were the major factor of me meeting and exceeding my goals and I look forward to picking your brain again. I'm sure I'll see you around.

maldorf is right, I have never seen Quad w/out a smile on his face, even when he could barely walk his big ass across the room after the injury.

I know the feeling of all the years of stress catching up to you. I turned 40 this year and have had to change so much about my lifting because shoulder, elbow and knee pain. a couple of years ago I had cortizone injections in both of my shoulders, then again about 8 months later. After reviewing my films the doc told me they could operate and clean some things up in my shoulder joint but it might not end my problem and the recovery would be long. He basically told me that it's years of wear and tear on the joint and my best bet was to live with it and make adjustments. He said that the shoulders and elbows are not weight supporting joints. Some days aren't too bad, some days it's extreme. Either way though......I will still be in the gym! Train smart! Good luck to you bro....you've accomplished a lot more in this sport than most of us every will!

I know for me becoming a pro bodybuilder just makes no sense. There is no money in it unless your the top 5 in the Olympia and even then for the top 5 is the money really worth it? The thought of all the injections is enuff to make me go insane. I just couldnt live my life like that.

Jesus said that He is the Way, and that no one can come unto the Father except through Him. No other religion has claims like this, and no other religion or belief system can be backed up with so many truths and facts. And yes, I agree with you that it does feel wrong saying that one belief is the only way, but what if it is? I believe Christianity is the only way. It's not a hard concept that God gave us free will and it's up to us to find the way. He's not a cosmic rapist forcing His love upon us - rendering our free will out of existance. It's not not that we CAN'T believe , it's just that most don't want to believe. Either you are a believer in Jesus, or you aren't . You can't take the best of both worlds, pick and choose what you want to believe and go with it because in the end you'll stand before Him and you want to hear those words, "Well done my good and faithful servant.."

Sorry, if I'm not being politcally correct here, but I have to make corrections where mistakes were made. let the bombs begin. :)
I knew I would get guff on that part. I believe and logically you also must believe that the bible we read today is in no way what it was 1950 tears ago (not 2005 years as the new testament was not written instantly upon Christ's death.) But the Pope's wo were in control of most all changed the bible to "persuade" followers they are the one "real" religion. I Believe Jesus was God's son and yes God incarnate....But is it out of the realm of possibility that so was Aberham, & Budah. Maybe Jesus said "I am a way, a path so to speak but not "the" way. As in the "only" way. Think about it if your religion was a seedling you need to convince all your followers that this is the only way to salvation. All the Relegious texts speak the same message at the root of them in pure form....Lets all get along I say...Heck of a lot easier. I think the whole world needs to smoke a huge ass JOINT! and just.....chhhiiilllll!!!

actually, the bible IS in fact very accurate to the messianic texts over 2000 years ago. Certain translations like the kings James version in the 16th century had a lot of mistakes, but the versions that are out in today's prints are some of the most accurate translations. They translated their texts into Greek originally and then from there translated again. Once the archaeologists found the other ancient manuscripts in the caves, they compared them to the originals and found an almost perfect copy(s). And I have to disagree with you about notion that ALL religious texts speak the same message, they do not. Buddhism preaches harmony with oneself and personal enlightenment but with a strange twist, you get to come back over and over and over again trying to correct the mistakes in your former life. Islam preaches submission and if you work hard enough here on earth you might make it into heaven with Allah and your 72 virgins. All the rest are usually copies of these 2 with some various twists. Christianity is the only one that says that we are nothing without Christ, we can't do anything to "earn" our way into heaven, and before God we don't stand a chance unless we ask for forgiveness of our sins and put the righteousness of Christ on and then we will be accepted.

But I hear ya, this isn't a religion forum so I'll stop here. But I do hope that you get your personal situations taken care of and get yourself all healed up so you can flex away! :) BTW, I can't imagine what a serious quad tear must feel like but it must be excruciating

I've even delayed my plans of going on HRT. We plan to have kids within 3 years and I can't afford to worry about sperm count. I guess it's back to two moderate cycles per year until the babies are made then I'll reconsider around 45 or so. Nothing but low doses of test, deca, primo and IGF-1 for me.

Quadsweep, what can i say that hasn't been said? Your views and thoughts are reflective of my own, in a scary way... Respect to you and I also hope you blow the competition away. Props also to you Silverback. Sparetire I must agree totally and wholeheartedly with Quadsweep that religion is a human trait designed to place followers in a mould that sugests their religion is the only way to God. You can not expect that those millions of people throughout the world who worship the same God you do will burn in hell just because they do not aspire to the same human written book as others. The prime example being India who have the most Godly devout people in the world per square foot of land. Anyway God bless Quadsweep and may the future for you be bright, healthy and long.

The Buddism thing does not sound like a bad deal...70 years is not really enough time to get it right I do not think. That is not all it is about in the Islamic religion, but I get your point. My real point was none are based in vilolence in their true form and all say they are the true one. So I say give honor to your faith and you will be good with god.
