When should I start cutting??? Advice needed!

i have been bulking over the winter and have put on 20 pounds in the past two months. with it came some fat too though, and i'm probably about 185 lbs @ 12% bf right now. i am HOPING to put enough cash together to start a var cycle around april or may and have been thinking about changing my diet and training to begin cutting around the beginning of march. i want to be shredded by mid-may. is this too soon or too late to begin cutting? should i wait til around mid march or april to begin cutting and try to build up some more mass? i'd like to have all my abs showing by mid-may. i figure i'll probably have to drop 5% of my bf to do that. any advice would be great.
 
These are approximate

185 lbs. @ 12% BF is 23 lbs. of fat

if you want to lose 5% of BF that is approx. 9 lbs.

but you will inevitably lose some muscle with the fat, so if you lose 3-4 lbs. of muscle that makes a total of 12-13 lbs you need to lose.

this would put you at about 173 with 14 lbs. of fat which is 8% bodyfat and your abs should start showing around that time.

you should strive to lose 1-2 lbs. per week to make sure as much weight loss as possible is fat, so you should figure on around 2 to 2.5 months of dieting, adjusting calories throughout according to how fast or slow you're losing weight.

but maybe with steroids you won't lose any muscle with the fat loss, or the fat loss will be faster, I dunno. someone else has to answer that one.
