you guys had color photography back in the day? man. . .that shit didn't make it to the shore till like 1975 at least.

we lived three houses above the highest crest of the susquehanna. . .we had cows sleeping in our backyard. . .and, yes, that was not a normal occurance smart-ass :)

1974? My daughter was 2, I had been married 4 yrs..... SO I guess I was born before you..... Dirt & I are almost the same age.

My advise for long life and happiness... Always hang with hot younger women!

I spent the flood at Stephens School, they evacuated us out expecting the Susquehanna to crest about ten feet over the dike at Maynard. Dad worked at JS Steel at the time, and couldn't make it home. So he drove up Big Pine but couldn't get past the Waterville bridge. So he cut across Little Pine and snapped that pic.

I like that pic too. We are talking about how to change his look. He wants to color his hair (he did in that pic). I like it grey but ultimately it will be up to him. I love him no matter what! :heart:

it makes a huge difference (the colored hair). I think it takes 15 years off.
and... shave his beard in his sleep. i'm really amazed at the difference. he looks really handsome in the pic you just posted.

He has been asking me if he should shave it off. He has had it for most of his life and I dont want him to feel like he needs to change for me.

oh and since we are talking age at graduation i was 17 when i graduated and still 17 when i left for the navy. my parents had to sign a waver to get me in, as if i had to twist their arm.. they were more than happy to get me out of there. well more my dad than my mom, she cried while she signed. she said she was sad i said they were tears of happiness.

Man, that's me to a T. I'm so disconnected from most everything now I dont even know what to do with myself. On the flip side maybe I'll come out of this funk with a better self image and more self esteem. :jenscat

i wasted 4 years of my life on a degree that i'll never use.
Dont ever go to college just for the sake of going to college, lol. thats what i've learned. go with a purpose!
