since it is processed?

is it a bad source of carbs?

just curious here

btw i dont eat any wheat bread (maybe a wheat bun when i go out for a chicken sandwich)

I make sure the first ingredient is really "whole wheat" - not enriched. I currently use Brownberry brand "Carb Counting" whole wheat. It has 6 net carbs and 5g Protein per slice. If you're going to eat sliced breat this seems like a good compromise (other than something like pita).

The low carb breads have other crap added to them though...you're better off going with the whole wheat stuff.

I would assume. But what exactly is this "crap"? and is it nessasary very bad?

Read the ingredients...stay away from HCFs, and sugars.........some low carb breads are actually better than the whole wheat versions......personally, I like the orgain, 100% stone ground, flax bread..........just make sure it's high in fiber and you'll be set!

I read the ingredients. Nothing out of the ordinary. Very low suger high in fiber & protein and it's stone ground whole wheat. Checks out OK to me.

Buy whole wheat organic bread

Tastes great and no chemicals, HFCS,...

The real greek pita is good

The pita you buy at WalMart is usually filled with crap (HFCS and other)
