What’s your training superstition?

I always have to put on a certain shirt that i feel is lucky for the day for the GYM. Hanes T shirts are always bad luck, and certain colored ones i never wear.

Soon as I walk in the gym I have to go weigh myself. It's a waist of time and energy but It's something I do.

More a compulsive habit than superstition.

Everything except the nasty plaid shorts part. Do they walk on their own yet?

no sets of any odd numbers but 5, otherwise do a drop set immediately
never any body part in front of the line where mirrors join

maybe it's all about control?

I have two....

Like someone else said, the bench of the equipment I'm using has to be lined up perfectly so it's parallel with the walls, or the lines on the ceiling/floor. If I'm doing bench press and the bar isn't parallel with the lines on the ceiling, I feel like I'm using one arm more than the other....

Also, I have to get up and have a drink from the fountain after every set.... if I don't, I feel.... well, I guess it's more of a habit than a superstition. Probably nothing wrong with it, except sometimes I lose my place on the equipment.

I used to have tons when I worked out at a gym. I used to only walk in the same door, wear the same clothes for every chest day, leg day, or back day every week. The same shoes, the same bench and bar, and never tuna before a workout. I had a bad workout after eating tuna once...never again:)

I always pray before I train too. I spend about 5 minutes praying, saying thanks, asking for love and kindness, praying for my friends and family, and to please forgive me for everything that I do that is wrong. I also pray to keep me safe and strong so that I can train again next week.

Then I bang my head against the squat bar till blood runs down my nose and I squat.

im with max and big, the bench bar has to be parellel with everything. also, the numbers on the barbells have to be parallel with the floor b4 when i start the exersize. and the weights on the bar must be facing each other. if the numbers face outward, i wont lift it. damn, im a weirdass.
