whats the right amount to eat when dieting?

im currently 130lbs and have still got love handles and a small pouch of fat on lower abs. i was just wondering whats the correct amount of calories that i should be eating a day to rip away these last bits of stubborn fat.

I am going to purchase some yohimburn but i firstly have to wait for the credit card that i ordered and that seems to be taking ages!

Also has anyone got some tips that will maximise my fat loss and also the best way to diet without having muscle loss!

thanx in advance!

i no i should cut my calories 500 below my maintenance a day but the problem with this is that i don't no my maintenance intake!

many online calorie calcualtors give misleading results.

some say my maintenance is about 1700 cals, some say 1900, some 2000 and some 2200.

that is a 500 calorie gap in the intake calculators and obviously too much of a margin!

ne1 have ne idea the amount i should be eating!

if this info is needed then my stats are as follows:

age: 19
weight: 130 lbs (9stone 4)
height: 5 foot 5 (65 inch or 165 centimeters)

thanx
:fro:

your activity level will dictate your maintenance calories. thats why you get so many readings. if you are highly active you will require more to "maintain" than if you were sedentary. did any of the calorie calculators question your daily activities?

How long have you been dieting? What's a typical day for you? At 130, I think you could go at 1500kcals and be okay, but problem area fat is a bitch no matter what. I'm trying to get rid of it now, seems to be all I have left.

Yeah believe me, I've recently come to realize the bodyweight times 12 thing for maintenance cal's is accurate...If you sit in bed and do nothing al day

Massbuild no offence bro but i think u need to stop asking for the answers the way you do and get your finger out and try things out.

Everybodies different and no one can really tell you how much you need without knowing more about you and even then it's touch and go. the best way to see how many calories you need is to test yourself, buy a few boxes of myoplex or metrx and for a week have nothing but those, at as many calories as you think u need for maintenance. dont workout in this period. At the end of the week if gain u need less cals if u lose u need more cals if u remain the same you're at maintenance.

also i think you need to put on weight and not lose!
just be patient and keep training hard and you'll get gains.

And remember even if u find out u need say 2000 calories a day it's almost impossible to make sure that's exaclty what you're gonna get so dont stress too much with calories, worry about getting the right amount of quality proteins in mainly and then worry about carbs and fats
