Man thats along thread...Well if you were in florida and they offered you 3 years id take it and run!!!! Oxy is a class 3 drug something like that along with acid herion ect....I believe they give you like 5 years for that shit unless you snitch someone..Which isnt a smart thing to do either as someone told you to do! Guy that got me caught (snitching) got probation and fucked that up and went to jail they tryed to kill him 2 twice,your geting the idea now..
Your 19 if its your first time you might go to a youthfull offenders prison(we have them here) but its actually worse then cuz its a bunch of kids wanting to fight all the time...Ive done 9 years on and off you can survive its all a mental game, more then physical game..If your pretty it will be worse,mind your own business!Less they know about you the less they will try you! Trust know one! Join a gang and you will end up shanked one day! Dont bitch up and fight if you get tried and you will find new friends quickly! If you dont you will be left to the wolfs! Most people get probation yes..They like to use points each charge carrys points, so many points will tell you how much time you will get.So more charges, more points, more time! They do a p.s.i and go back x amount of years and use them points too on you...So if your caught red handed best to get out cheap and deal with! County jail is the worst and the longer you sit there the smaller and weaker you will get....My Point, your geting off pretty good i think! Meth is all over the news everyday,oxy,roids all top sellers on the new drug laws our wonderful bush came up with...Pot would of just got you probation...One thing to remember bro dont let them talk you into saying you have a drug problem! It will haunt you for life on your record so dont take no programs! If you do you might end up with a lot more tours then this one! Admit nothing, take no paper,do your time and move on!This is for your own good in the long run,you get in the system and your life will really be over... 3 years aint shit might do half and get parole,event that suxs too...you must stay clean then,or you will get sent right back.You live and you learn.... I've never been to prison, so I wouldn't attempt to refute anything Ozz2001 says about that, but I have been in recovery for quite a while and would like to put my 2 cents in there: If it causes a problem it is a problem, and if it is a problem, solve it!!

Maybe participating in a drug program -- to help with an addiction that caused you to choose getting high over staying free -- could be used against you in court on a later charge (I doubt it), but look at the inverse: If you get help with your problem, maybe you won't have to go back to prison after this is over!!

Also, Drug Treatment is a form of hospitalization, and is therfore covered under HIPAA privacy laws. Employers can't find out about them, your in-laws can't... Without a court order they cannot say you were treated there, and even with one they can't reveal anything you talked about while you were there. I have worked in Drug Treatment facilities and have written computer programs for Worker's Compensation -- where we had to adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines -- so I know what I'm talking about here.

You can be "punished for your infraction" or "treated for your problem": It's your choice. Good luck.

Im going to jail...im being charged with 46 counts of possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver..all felonies...im fighting it but i am going to lose...i dont know if im going to a state or federal prison though...can someone tell me what prison is really like?

by the way i was caught with 2 pounds of pot, 40 OC80's, and like a very small amount of meth...and im in pennsylvania

I wouldn't worry too much, I was locked up for awhile. Did 11 months out of a 2 year sentence. Not the worst thing in the world.. I ate alot, slept, lifted, and read. Never had to fight anyone....

Just make sure that you have a good lawyer. Your lawyer can either make or break you.

brother are you being tryed in state or federal court? and obviously there talking about runnng you charges concurent . thats why you will only be facing 3 yrs anything over a year you better pray you go to prison f living in county over a year in cali there is no weights no tobaco and really no privilages in in jail go up and youll be back in 18 months on 3 yrs maybee less good luck
