What was your typical diet like before you worked out?

LOL Garza your father is spanish but isn´t white? Must be one of those 2% of the population... Go to Spain... Spanish people are white... Mexicans, Cubans and Puerto Ricans have only some spanish characteristics...

In my High School if we wanted to eat at school we would have to eat some sandwich with some soda or some candies because the rest wasn´t available... Or we could go to the mall and eat the usual mcdonalds or burguer king´s food... Or some pizza, whatever... Or, if we lived near the school, we could go home and eat something healthy. Luckily i´ve always had my grandparents to support my healthy habits lol...
 
me and most of my friends ate like crap in HS(some still do) but once u start busting your ass in the gym u get to see how much work it requires to burn fat off your body..fast food just isnt worth the extra work

I went grocery shopping today and the fattiest thing I bought was some rice krispy treats. I bought tuna, veggies, a big ass box of uncle bens instant rice, 2 bags of chicken thighs, 4 gallons of water, milk, ramen noodles, and ground beef. It will all be gone in about 5 days lol.
 
well i was lucky growing up in a traditional korean home..In the morning my mom would make me eat some milk, cereal, and eggs and toast and fruit (the usual every fuckin day)..then at lunch she would pack a chicken sandwich, raw veggies (brocolli, carrot sticks, celery) and I always brought a thermos filled with orange juice or apple juice..

and this was in high school folks lol

Then at night I would come home to some rice, fish, steak, kimchi (spicy cabbage), asssorted vegetables...

We never ate out, never bought pop at the store, and once I got serious into sports my freshman year in high school I could tell I gained muscle, kept lean a hell of a lot easier than my classmates...If I had only eaten more protein throughout the day, I woulda gained more muscle..I would just eat the fish or steak at dinner at my home..maybe 100 grams of protein a day which is weak..

I wish I knew back then what I know now..oh well
 
I think best thing to do is stop buying all the pre packed, microwaveable things. I now only buy chicken, beef, rice, fruits and veggies. (Of course milk and a few snacks, too.) I used to buy like 10 tv dinners every week, they are loaded with excess fat and are expensive. I used to spend like 80 a week on groceries, now I spend like 50 and I'm eating healthier and more.
 
Breakfast - Leftovers from the night before/heroin.

Lunch - Sandwich, few shots of scotch, heroin.

Dinner - Whatever I cooked, more scotch and heroin.

My body was a wreck. Then I discovered the morgue.
