well i was lucky growing up in a traditional korean home..In the morning my mom would make me eat some milk, cereal, and eggs and toast and fruit (the usual every fuckin day)..then at lunch she would pack a chicken sandwich, raw veggies (brocolli, carrot sticks, celery) and I always brought a thermos filled with orange juice or apple juice..
and this was in high school folks lol
Then at night I would come home to some rice, fish, steak, kimchi (spicy cabbage), asssorted vegetables...
We never ate out, never bought pop at the store, and once I got serious into sports my freshman year in high school I could tell I gained muscle, kept lean a hell of a lot easier than my classmates...If I had only eaten more protein throughout the day, I woulda gained more muscle..I would just eat the fish or steak at dinner at my home..maybe 100 grams of protein a day which is weak..
I wish I knew back then what I know now..oh well
