Do you think it's Lance Armstrong winning the Tour de France 5 years in a row after coming back from brain, lung, and testicular cancer?

Damn. We were watching Dodgeball when he said he had won it 5 years in a row. Guess he won it 2 more years after that. He didn't win it the last time did he? He didn't race in the last one did he?

38 combat missions before being pulled from flight status in June of 1953 after an old ear infection acted up.

5 years of service.

Inducted into the Fishing Hall of Fame.

plus i heard he was a pretty good baseball player.

so. . .offer up an opinion. . .

personally, i'm a big fan of lance and his streak would be epic even without the whole cancer thing. . .throw that into the mix and that one's kinda hard to top. . .

however, there have been so many impressive achievements (love the fact that the splendid splinter got his props). . .how about eric heiden's five golds??

i remember a certain boxer from louisville that came back from exile (during the absolute prime of his life) for protesting viet nam and cemented his legacy in the waning years of his career.

how bout mj's body of work?? for pure athletic gifts that were actually utilized to their fullest potential that's tough to beat.
