I actually diet right about now, even earlier. I never understood cutting in the summer and bulking in the winter b/c u actually see the effects of the cycle in the wrong season (i.e. spend all winter bulking b/c you wear lots o' clothing, but then spring/summer comes and u are fat and have no shirt on). But, it takes a while for me to bulk, so if I bulk during the summer, the fat will be most evident in the fall/winter.
I started at the first of the year just to get rid of some excessive fat gain that started at the end of last summer. My results have been so good that I'm going to continue until I hit single digits.
