Yeah, don't add of any of that protein shit to your body!
I'll never understand pointless posts.
Anyway, you can say the same thing about amino acid tabs. Why take a 1 gram tab when you can just have a shake with 40 grams? But the advantage is that you can take it throughout the day and that can make a big difference. Steady dosing is better than occasional big dosing. Guys who use BCAA's will tell you they really help. And GEAR also contains BCAA's. But GEAR dos more than any amino or BCAA tab.
Yes, it's mostly SPS but it's also "fractioned" which allows the amino molecules to be dispersed. It isn't the same as being "time released." It acually is spread throughout the intensines, allowing for more absorbtion. Add hydrolyzed protein which requires no absorbtion and aminogen and bromalin blend which will make the most of OTHER protein you eat. In other words, when you add GEAR to a meal, more of the protein from the food is used.
So, GEAR isn't intended to be any magical substance. It isn;t hormonal and doesn;t claim to increase testosterone by ten million percent. It's actually a perfectly pure protein source that can be used throughout the day which is 100% absorbed. It's very similar to injectable aminos. It's a simple concept that works. It's intensified nutrition and nitrogen retention.
If you're training hard, GEAR can be a tremendous asset to your gains and goals. But don;t expect huge weight gains or fat loss. It's merely a big advantage in protein supplementation. But to some guys, me included, that's pretty exciting.
