I'm just wondering what makes a girl a slut. I've had sex with 11 guys but I just dont find myself to be slutty. Im just a fun lovin girl who likes to have sex. Besides im clean, never had any STD's so how can i be a slut? I'd love to know your oppinons on this.
 
I'm from MA too.....I think age has alot to do with it. A 15 year old that has slept with 11 guys may be headed to slutville....

back on topic, I agree with Pauly on the slut topic. Sluttiness isn't a matter of how many partners you have as much as the attitude you keep. Liking sex is one thing, but if your attitude is disgusting about it, THEN you're a slut. How many guys you sleep with is irrelevant...
 
yeah and it also depends on the type of clothes you wear and the people you hang out with.but it dont matter if you like sex that dont make you a slut.

Sex is all about having fun, I wouldnt call a woman a slut due to the amount of people she has slept with. The sexual organs are there to give pleasure, it's only society that tells us we shouldn't sleep around. Guys will sleep with any woman they find attractive, why should it be different for a woman. The only time it's not cool is if you're in a serious or committed relationship and you're doing it behind your partners back
 
Lack of self-respect makes a girl a slut. Sleeping with a bunch of guys because she thinks she has nothing else to offer men is just a symptom of it.
 
I agree..lack of self respect...plus just being sexually active and promiscuous to fill a dysfunctional emotional need. Yes, sex is fun, but sex is not always love.
 
I wouldnt say that makes you a Slut i say you know what you like so stick with it. Now if it was 100 in a month then i say thats a problem. Plus it really doesnt matter what people think its what you think.

Along these same lines, the answer to the question, "what's the difference between a slut and a bitch?" - a slut sleeps with anyone, a bitch sleeps with anyone but you.

Seriously, though, it really is all about attitude and self-respect. I do disagree with the poster who said it has anything to do with the way you dress - it's 99% mental. I guess my questions to you, Bellydancer, would be:
  • Over what span of time did you sleep with these 11 guys?
  • Did you misrepresent your emotional commitment to any of them?
  • Did you have a hidden aganda in sleeping with any of them?
  • Did you expect sleeping with any of them to fulfill anything other than a desire for physical pleasure?
If you can answer these kinds of questions honestly and be happy with the answers, you're no slut...
 
personally i find it difficult to feel comfrotable with a new girl knowing that she has been with a lot of guys. i do not necessarily think its bad, but for some reason trust issues present itself. If she didnt cheat on anyone, then its cool i suppose... who knows, blah
 
In the bizarro world(where I have been residing), a slut is a girl who just likes sex, just as any man would. As long as she isn't trading in someones trust for it(her signifigant other--assuming there is one), then she doesn't cross the boundaries to being a "whore" imo. Better a slut than a whore. Remember now fellas, we all like a girl with a lil' slut in em now don't we?! Now can a brother get a fucking table dance or what?!:p

Yeah, that's pretty good. If she sleeps with you and your friends, you need to get tested. I think if you sleep with more than 6 people a year, you are a slut. That applies to male and female. I mean you have to have some sense of honor and dignity. My woman is smoking hot and 31. She has only been with 3 guys other than me because of long-term relationships. I can't say the same and we don't talk about that. I promised her I was under 50. I don't know if that made her feel any better, but it was better than under 100.
 
i think it has more to do with the motive behind having sex rather than howmany times you have done it.

for example a girl who has had a lot of sex because she like sex and guys Vs a girl who has a series of relationships and actually believed she was in love every time.

I agree, i think the girls that go from 6 month relationship etc.. are more stupid than slutty. Based on the fact that they are having sex and they don't even really want to. It just says a lot about them. These are also the type of girls that new a new boyfriend RIGHT after the relationship ends. Very insecure. This is every highschool girl (my area heh)

I think that's what i was trying to explain.

That type of girl actually loses more respect from me than a girl who sleeps around a lot for fun because she LIKES it.

Don't let it bother you pussycat. I'm sure that if he had the wherewithall to get into a dancers panties, then he wouldn't be whistling that tune. In other words, he doesn't, and probably can't pull that off(without roofies), and his excuse for classifying strippers as sluts probably revolves around that.

If the traditional definition is used, someone having sex out of wedlock would be a slut. Soooo... unless you are a priest... errr... NON-Catholic priest... you're a slut.

By conventional wisdom... be free, be marry, and be safe. Have fun and be young. Does it matter?

However, a woman (or man) who uses sex for an advantage to gain something or a higher position over someone else... now THAT'S a slut.

That is a really complicated question... what makes a girl a slut? I'm not sure. I do know a lot of sluts... and I know a lot of crazy sluts... and the only thing seperating them is the frequency they procreate. I don't think a girl that likes sex is a slut, but a girl who likes sex with multiple partners inside of a short period of time is a slut. A crazy slut is just short of a whore. A crazy slut is the kind of girl that gives BJs in exchange for some ritalin, or maybe just so she doesn't have to be alone. A crazy slut doesn't know where to draw the line between a friend and a friend you fuck once in a while. A crazy slut has no respect for other people's relationships, and will try to get in anyones pants regardless of who they are with. Does this explain anything? Oh well.

Personally, I think a chick shouldn't have more one night stands then relationships w/sex. But that's just my opinion. I like to aim for chicks who've been with less then five. but really, I'd rather just not know how many guys a chicks been with. A guy who likes/loves a girl and asks her how many guys she's been with is like ordering a nice juicy steak, well prepared and just right, and right before jumping in, asks the waiter to give him details of how the cow was slaughtered. it's just stupid.
 
i think all girls turn into sluts when they have their 1st orgasm...its like when a kid busts his first nut he thenmasterbates for life.
