What Macros do you use when dieting to get lean?? I know 40% Protein/40% Carbs/20% Fat is pretty popular. As is 40% Protein/30% Carbs/30% Fat. Or does it matter???

Normally I'll stick around 40/40/20, 40/30/30 and keto...

Right now I'm on a 50/30/20 with my carbs around my workout (TKD)

Always something new to try :)

i've 40:30:30 (protein:Carbs:fats) or 40/40/20 seems to work for me, it's more important i keep the calories low and not consume too much carbs per meal

70 fat/ 30 pro, carbs 20 grams or so (from green veggies and cheese, sometimes macadamia or walnutts). Carb up days are roughly 40/30/30 (c/p/f), alough sometime I just pig out on junk and not worry about it.

i'm currently on maintenace diet, so i consume about 80-100g carbs, 200-220g protein and lotsa fats (mono's, poly's and saturated)...never bothered to calculate the exact numbers...as long as the food is clean and quality no fat gain is produced...and i schedule my carbs around my workouts/practices, other than that carbs are waste and not needed

About 40-50 pro / 50-60 fat .....carbs are less than 20 per day.
Carb up from about 5:45pm Friday after work out, to bedtime Saturday.

Man, I just don't see how you guys function on 20-30 grams of Carbs a day. WOW! I'd be ready to pimp slap the Pope!!!:D Hats off...

I was in a state of dieting for about a year or more straight.

When I finally started bulking again...man, what a difference. felt so good to have energy again and to be "strong".

I don't think isocaloric is to bad. I will do it once in awhile. 33/33/33. Other than that, if you are training hard and making the right food choices I think 50 CHO/30PRO/20FAT is tough to beat.
