What is your favorite protein?

AST's VP2... expensive as hell.. but I have never really noticed a big difference between proteins until i tried this one.. put on 5lbs natty in a very short time.. a solid weight increase... one of the best out there in my opinion.. just overpriced as hell

It's an isolate, just like Isopure.....which is expensive as f too..........isolates are pure brutha.....

If it's wrong then I am mis-reading the label that says 35 grams of carbs per serving.

Why would you want to take carbs and cause and insulin response when you're going to sleep? You're already going to slow down and burn less fat so why would you go to bed with insulin circulating and shutting down your bodies fat burning capabilities completely. Your body stops burning fat in the presence of insulin.

Do you guys think that the isolates are worth the extra money? AST's VP2 can be had fairly inexpensively if you know where to look. I'm currently using O.N. 100% Whey. Do you think I would notice a difference?

I normally use O.N. 100% Whey.. and I tried VP2 for like 2 months and saw an amazing difference.. in my body.. in my recovery.. and in my wallet.. lol.. if you can find it cheap.. please give me your hook up.. if you've got the money to blow.. i think it's definatly worth it.. protein can often times be overlooked..

>>> So true , before sleeping a combo of protein + EFA's are the best choice , the EFA's will slower the absorption of the protein and it will make your sleep less catabolic than it would normally be .. Well if you want to add carbs before sleep , make sure it is extremly low glycemic and eat lotsa fiber , that will also help to slower the release of insulin ... it will help a lot .

You said that before. Repeating it doesn't make it true. Can I hear your argument to what I posted? I am telling you exactly why you shouldn't eat carbs before bed and your response is that carbs are not the devil. That's hardly an argument.

You're right I was looking at the MRP ISOPURE not the whey product.
