What is the cheapest source of protein in the world?

Welp, im a poor, poor man. I dont think I can afford proein powder anymore, just too damn expensive for how much you get. Are there any alternatives for protein? Tuna is kind of cheap, but I am thinking of something that I could buy in a bulk bin or something? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheap protein

Tuna, chicken, eggs, London broil. To buy it at a discount it must be purchased in bulk. Do you have a Costco or a Sams, if you do try there. The thing with buying in bulk it's a chunk of $ to drop at one time, though you save in the long run.

i would say tuna....eggs are cheap but you would go throughe eggs faster than eating 1 can of tuna.go down and get a bunch of cans and eat about 2 a day between other meals.......

If you search the web, you can get a good deal on protein powder, and will actually be paying less than for most other sources. A scoop w/18 grams of protein usually works out to about $.40. The same amount of protein in egg whites is anywhere from $.50 - $1, depending on what kind of deal you get, and chicken breasts are about $.75 per piece, but has about 25 grams of protein--still a bit more expensive per gram, though. So if you want cheap, you may actually be better off with the protein powder.
