What is the best protein out on the market right now?

I buy in bulk, also cheap cuts of ground turkey at super wal-mart or heb (you can get it for $1 or less a ibs), plus my father owns a ranch, so I get about 30-40 ibs of beef for free every month.

Damn luck you bro. So the meat that you don't get for free, where do you buy it at?

Also do you feel it has made a difference in your gains?
 
Yes, I think it has. I bulk on low carbs. I'm naturally a fatty, so I do a CKD year round. I get fat as hell on 50% carb calories, even if I eat low calories. I tried to diet like that once on 2200 cals and gained 8 ibs of bf in 6 weeks. That much meat is essential if I'm going to make gains on almost no carbs 5-6 days a week. Anyway, I think I've done very well in the short time I've been training, considering I was over 30% bf when I started in january of 2000.

Oh ok, well I'm opposite of you. It's extremely hard for me to gain weight even though I eat 4500 calories a day. I was looking on the proteinfactory site and I see that the whey isolates are recommended for cutting. I'm looking to add mass and not cut up right now does it really matter or should I go with something thats under the lean mass menu like Anabolic MRP, Lean Gainer, Penta Protein, or Pro -Sorben?
 
Compliated question. Whey isolate is fine for bulking though. ANywho, I'm averaging 5200 cals a day right now.
 
I got some Isopure the other day to try. I need cause I am on a low carb diet. The directions on the jug say to mix with 12 ounces of water and 2 scoops of mix for a THICK shake. What a joke, this shit is like water. Have you guy's noticed this with Isopure. BamBam

Well obviously the lean gainers have more carbs, sodium and sugars. Too many to choose from though in the lean gainer category. I'm confused :confused: LOL

I've always found Isopure to never mix worth a shit. Getting it out of a cup or blender requires a chizle. The shit has to soak for hours and be scrubbed out. That's funny because any whey isolate you buy online mixes just like water. I've used 5 different containers of isopure over the last 3 years, and found everyone one of them wouldn't mix, and just turned to hardened crystals. Worthless, low-quality, over-priced shit in my opinion.
 
Costco is now carrying 5 lb protein jugs for $21. Can not remember the name though.

I have plenty of protein jugs so I have not tried the product. Had to quit lifting for a few months and let the joints heal.

Have you guys found that 80% of gains can be lost in a few months though they come back quickly.
