Yes, I think it has. I bulk on low carbs. I'm naturally a fatty, so I do a CKD year round. I get fat as hell on 50% carb calories, even if I eat low calories. I tried to diet like that once on 2200 cals and gained 8 ibs of bf in 6 weeks. That much meat is essential if I'm going to make gains on almost no carbs 5-6 days a week. Anyway, I think I've done very well in the short time I've been training, considering I was over 30% bf when I started in january of 2000.
