What is the best cardio?

Whatever gets your heart rate up and keeps you interested. I like the stepper and treadmill. Wish I could swim, but don't have the facilities.

all of them! I do a different cardio workout every session. Keep your body guessing. Don't let yourself get used to one. You expend more calories that way.

There really is not a BEST cardio to do.. I mean as long as it gets your heart rate up and burns calories personal preference is really up to you. I have a stiationery bike so I do that... if I owned a treadmill I would do that instead it doesnt really matter to me...

Bro cardio sucks in my opinion no matter how much you change it up or what music you listen to so you just gotta suck it up like the rest of us.

If you have access to a Pool, Swimming.
Otherwise, the best is to do something different each workout.
Some machines will work the legs primarily, others, the entire body.
Swimming works it all so that's why I like it best.

Best cardio....?

like they said...it's really up to what works for you best both biomechanially and mentally. Cross training is always good, maximizes your cardio capabilities while making you overall stronger...>>keep your body guessing<<< (I like that Avatar!)
I like - now I'm not doing much cardio because I'm bulking up - the stepper (no cheating by holding onto the handles!) when I'm at the gym and running on the street. Also, hiking a very hilly course with a 55 lbs. pack on my back at a decent fast pace, that works out the hell out of you!

If i was going to swim for cardio how long do I have to swim for?
cause swimming for 30mins is rough!!!:(

If you haven't done a lot of swimming, no way are you gonna jump in and swim for 30 Min..

Start slow.. Swim for 10 and you will feel it good.
Move it up a Min or sa each time and before you know it
you will be swimming for 30 min and then taking a break and doing 10 more or so...

30 Min of good swimming does much more for me than
60 of treadmill..

I play raquetball alot- something that is "FUN" 1hr goes by like 20 mins, and I am panting like a dog- which never happens on a machine in the gym-
alot of starting/stopping/sprinting/jumping- its great- i also play basketball and tennis to change it up....
